A man in Kanaan almost killed his only sun. Abram claimed, he had a dream over night, where a God's voice told him to kill his only son as human burn sacrifice.
Abram agreed, he kept this information as secret from his son Isaac and everybody else and then Abram took his son on the hill called Moria, where he tied him up and almost kill him with knife. He claims to be stopped by stranger looking like angel. After that he untied him and let him free, he killed male sheep as replacement. Source does not specify if the son has been traumatised or not.
