Man named Kain killed his brother Abel. He appeared to be angry due to recent events, when he had brought his food crops to sacrifize it to God and the God was not satisified. God had claimed that he prefer meat/blood offerings from his brother Abel. After the killing happened, God spoke to Kain directly and as a punishment God sent him to the east region and God enabled a magic protection on him so nobody would kill him. After all Kain lived successful life, as he found a wife and build a city in the region on the east called Nod.
